Meet Dr. Helen Hau Your orthodontist with a "family-first" attitude.
Born and raised in Houston, Dr. Hau received her undergraduate degree in the Plan II Honors Program from the University of Texas at Austin. She continued her education by obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where she graduated summa cum laude and was accepted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Hau pursued additional specialty training at the Center for Advanced Dental Education at Saint Louis University, where she received her Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Hau is a board-certified orthodontic specialist and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. She is committed to lifelong learning and enjoys mastering and employing cutting edge innovations in orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Hau leads our office, helping us to ensure the safest and most advanced treatment possible. Jovan Orthodontics went beyond ADA, TDA, and CDC regulations to safeguard your family’s care from now to well into the future. Here’s what we’ve done:
